I am pretty sure most of these shortcuts are default in Omnigraffle’s settings. Here are a few that I use on a daily basis. There are a ton of keyboard shortcuts in Omnigraffle. Do yourself a favor and go buy a Magic Mouse today. Anytime I wireframing with the trackpad, I feel like one of my hands has been cut off. When I’m wireframing, I find I am always zooming in and zooming out to look at the design at various levels of detail. Once visual design is applied, the icons will most likely change. The goal of icons in wireframes is to just be as obvious as possible, and to serve as a placeholder. There’s no reason that you should be spending time making your own icons! If you are, just stop it right now. I’d also recommend checking out other resources including Graffletopia and Stencils.io. For icons, I’d recommend Glyphicons, NounProject, and FontAwesome. As a base stencil set, I work from the Konigi wireframe stencil. There are a ton of great stencil resources out there. Then I adjust the height depending on the height of the wireframe. I like to make my actual page setup fairly large, so I always have a custom page size which is 27 inches by 32 inches. To achieve this, you should first ensure that your Canvas Ruler Units are set to “pixels”. However, there is benefit to setting up your Omnigraffle canvas so that you are working as close to scale as possible. The dimensions outlined in wireframes are not prescriptive, not serve as exact size specifications for designers or developers. I never make wireframes that are pixel perfect. He made a beeline for Atrocitus, kicking away Dex-Starr before striking Atrocitus with a. And just like that in Injustice 2 #62 by Tom Taylor, Daniel Sampere, and Wes Abbott, Lobo became the Green Lanterns' newest and most obscene member.Īnd boy did he prove that last part. Fortunately, the Green Lanterns were just desperate enough to grant him a ring, something he had always wanted to try. Without that he was stuck on Oa, useless until the fight came to him. In the opening minutes of the fight, Lobo lost his bike. RELATED: Young Justice's Teen Lantern Just Hit a Green Lantern MilestoneĪs the saying goes, desperate times call for desperate measures. By the time Blue Beetle and Lobo arrived, they had already lost several hundred of their members. Rings without wielders were leaving the sector to find new users and even the Corps disgraced members were given a chance to help in the face of oblivion. So needless to say, the Green Lanterns were dropping like flies. Not to mention the sick satisfaction of watching the Green Lanterns kill each other. It not only turned several Green Lanterns and Guardians against each other but also gave Atrocitus more troops in his assault over the planet's atmosphere. The use of Starro as a Red Lantern was tactically brilliant. So Lobo accompanied Blue Beetle to Oa where they found things in dire straights. For the promise of further compensation, Lobo was assigned the role of Jaime's protection as the young man was still new to being a hero. Lobo proved more than capable of the task, if not a bit violent. Your main goal is to avoid any major gaps between your wedge loft and make sure you can accommodate the different kinds of shots you are faced with on the course. You should know the loft of your pitching wedge, and also figure out how far you actually hit different lofts on full swings. I believe that in order to choose the right mix of wedge loft you should clear up two things. Perhaps it might make more sense to carry four wedges based on the kinds of shots you like to play. In my opinion, if you carry more wedges in your bag it gives you a larger arsenal of distances and trajectories you can play.Įach player’s game is unique though, and it is best to analyze the kinds of situations you usually find yourself in during a round. That means on most holes they are going to have a wedge in their hand inside of 100-125 yards. The majority of golfers who play this game are missing more than 70-75% of greens in regulation during a round. Adding a lob wedge is a great idea for many golfers because it allows you to get the ball in the air quickly without having to manipulate the clubface. I carry four wedges because I want more options around the green. Usually, wedges can be bent a degree stronger or weaker to accommodate your preferences as well. You could possibly get away with having a gap wedge at 51 degrees, and then a sand wedge at 56 degrees. Let’s say your pitching wedge loft is 46 degrees. I believe you should have three wedges in your bag (including your PW), at minimum. Most players are going to execute better with a full swing rather than try to hit a pitching wedge at 80% of its normal yardage.Įach manufacturer has their own lofts, and it is important to know what you are playing with so that you can make the right decision. If you had a sand wedge that was 56 degrees of loft, that would leave an enormous gap in yardage between the two clubs. Having something in between the two, maybe at around 50 degrees would be more appropriate. You can typically find lofts on a manufacturer’s website This is exactly why having a gap wedge has become more important.įor example, a Callaway Steelhead XR pitching wedge has 44 degrees of loft. Pitching wedges that used to be 48 degrees are now in the 44-45 region. The trend has been for lofts to go stronger and stronger, which is increasing the distance each player will hit their pitching wedge. This could greatly affect how many wedges you carry in your bag, and what loft they should be. It is important to understand that there are no standards in the golf industry for pitching wedge loft. You want to have a wedge for each yardage. The main key is to choose a collection of lofts that don’t leave any large holes in distance between clubs. This will make it easier to decide what lofts you need in order to properly gap yourself. If you can work with a teaching professional or club fitter using a launch monitor, then you can arrive at your yardage for each wedge. I strongly believe that most golfers should carry a gap wedge to avoid the large “gap” between their pitching and sand wedge. I chose the lofts on these wedges because of the various distances I hit the ball, but you can see that I have pretty much every yardage covered inside of 130 yards. Pitching Wedge (45 Degrees): 125 Yards, Gap Wedge (51 Degrees): 115 Yards, Sand Wedge (56 Degrees): 100 Yards, Lob Wedge (60 Degrees): 90 Yards Here are my current distances on full swings with each wedge: I will run through an example in my game to give you an idea of how I arrived at the different wedge lofts in my bag. If not, who can you consult to get the information you need to make an informed decision? Ask yourself what you already know about the situation, what you don’t know yet and need to find out, and whether you even have enough information to make a decision. Once you have determined that you do need to make an ethical decision, get the facts so you can make an informed decision. You could be in a situation where you need to choose between compassion or justice, or where you have to weigh the needs of an individual against the needs of the group. You may be faced with a decision where you need to choose between short-term success but long-term failure. The first step in these situations is to acknowledge that you are experiencing an ethical dilemma. To make ethical decisions, consider following a process provided by the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics. In an ethical dilemma, there is rarely a clear answer about what is the right choice, and we have to rely on our morals and values to navigate those situations. Have you ever been faced with a situation that prompts you to compare different solutions and consider what the right thing to do is? You might be experiencing an ethical dilemma – hypothetical and actual experiences that force the decision maker to choose between two options that both may have regrettable consequences. Army Ready and Resilient Do the Right Thing: 5 Steps to Better Ethical Decisions As your eye refills with aqueous humor and the bubble continues to dissipate the line will move lower day by day until the gas bubble completely dissipates. This is where the gas bubble and your natural fluid (aqueous humor) meet. As the bubble dissipates to about half size you will be able to see a horizontal line across your vision. The bubble makes everything badly out of focus. The other common gases used for retina surgery are sulfur hexafluoride (SF 6), which dissipates in 10 to 14 days, and perfluoropropane (C 3F 8) which dissipates in 55 to 65 days. It will absorb slowly on its own.Ī bubble of air consists mostly of nitrogen and oxygen with small amounts of argon and carbon dioxide. Gas used in retina surgery does not have to be removed. The gas is used to prevent the subretinal fluid that naturally seeps from the inflamed tissues from reaching the area behind your repaired retina. Your retina specialist will choose the type of gas depending on the retina repair you had and how long your retina needs to be walled off from inflammatory fluids. The gas bubble needs to remain in your eye for as long as it takes to heal the repair and not longer. The type of bubble depends on your repair and how long the bubble needs to remain in your eye. The bubble doesn’t always have to be a medical gas, it could be just air. On occasion, general anesthesia may be required. In most cases, you receive IV sedation that will put you into a twilight state in which you are conscious but extremely relaxed, then your eye will be numbed. To do that your retina specialist will perform a vitrectomy and remove the vitreous humor gel, repair the retina, and then inject a gas bubble to wall off the repaired retina to allow it to heal. Many retina repairs require direct access to the torn, scarred, detached, or damaged retina. Your retina specialist may inject a gas bubble to fix your retina. Let’s look at the origin, meaning, and use of this idiom in language. You’re not going to pay them for their thoughts, but you will pay attention to what they have to say. And for that one little moment…we can be lost in forever.“Tell me, Sam, that new proposal by the marketing department, a penny for your thoughts?” If you’re looking to extract information from someone, then you can use this idiom as a way to entice them to give you the best reply possible. Let’s spend some time, you and I, together. But if you can’t give me all that I ask, won’t you commit to one simple task. Guaranteed to stay the same, forever unchanged…a testimony to things divine. Just give a chance and open your door, to the possibilities of me and you, or you and I, or should I say us…trust me, you and I add up beautifully. And when you’ve got it all, I’ll give you more. I’ll give you all that you need and all that you want. I’ll be your rock, your strength, and your confidant. There’s no other place I’d rather be, then at your side through eternity. Confession number TEN is last but not least. Scented candle light flickers in the dark, shadows of our love making, caste on the wall, a testimony to the art, of breathtaking, bed shaking, back breaking, love making. Or should I say collide, hold on for the ride\, because I’m taking you over hills and through valley lows, dinner by candlelight, Broadway shows, picnics by sunset, spending nights with no clothes. Confession number NINE, is next in line, can’t be bound by body place or time when our worlds combine. Moving mountains, parting seas, just to be with you. Confession number EIGHT, is how I contemplate, spending long nights thinking of a life with you, honest and true, consumed by love in all that do. I told you before I wanna live happily ever after, but what about after-life, yes I mean death, will our love continue after our lungs lose their breath? I don’t know, but I hope so, cause when humanity’s through, I wanna move onto eternity with you. After all, what’s gold gonna do for us, but turn to rust, you can’t even taken it to Heaven, that brings me to SEVEN. As I look at your body in the light of the night, and everything’s right, and everything’s tight, and firm and round…I’m getting too excited so let me slow down…Ĭonfession number SIX is a thought I have of giving you things, not materialistic objects like golden rings, but if you wanna fly, I’ll provide you with wings. I wanna lay next to you on bed, curled, up, as we lay in the light of the moon, music playing…soft jazz tunes. And I envision your body tasting like wine so I’ll take my time, and get drunk off the volume that I’d consume, highly intoxicated by the love that you provide…confession number FIVE, is thoughts of you and I in a world where our love’s unfurled. I wanna kiss you all over from your head to your feet. Its bubble bath by candlelight, make love to you all night, on a bed, covered by the petals of a rose so sweet. Carry you across the threshold, through the door, to confession number FOUR. Confession number THREE you see, is how I wanna be, together forever, live happily ever, after, through time, you and me combined, in body and soul and mind. Here’s confession number Two, thinking you, and me, and where I wanna be, and how in a few years from now we can start a family. That’s confession number ONE and I’m far from done. But first, let m ego back and change sex to love, because when I think of you, that’s all I’m thinking of. I’m dying to get next to you, have sex with you, I’ve got a lot of feelings I must confess to you. Captivated by your voice every time you speak. You’re my mid-summer-night’s dream, and I’m dying to get you in between my sheets. Hair in a ponytail, eyes bright like the moon. I find you irresistible, insatiable, visions of your body on my mind, inerasable, irreplaceable. She also speculated that most work sites did not have electrophysiologic test equipment and therefore, were unable to perform any of those tests (e.g., middle latency response (MLR) testing). Emanuel indicated that this may be due to the lack of supporting literature for the tests (most audiologists used the SCAN-C, which comes with a manual). Emanuel (2002) found that none of the 192 responding audiologists followed the recommended minimum (C)AP test battery outlined in a Bruton conference in 2000 (Jerger & Musiek, 2000). This is valuable information because audiologists seem to have some trepidation when considering and performing (C)AP evaluations. The purpose of this document was to update and augment the 1996 ASHA position statement and to help guide audiologists in the diagnosis (i.e., selecting the necessary tools to accurately perform (C)AP evaluations) and intervention (i.e., selecting the type of therapy) of (C)APD. In 2005, the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) approved its working group document on (C)AP (ASHA, 2005). This article will discuss information from that document, as well as provide clinical examples to elaborate upon it. Nearly a decade later, ASHA updated that statement with a working group document that contains recommendations to guide audiologists in assessing children for (C)APD. In 1996, the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) wrote a consensus statement on central auditory processing, or (C)AP (ASHA, 1996). Additionally, it is difficult for audiologists to start this testing in their clinics, because no single test battery has been identified as being the gold standard. Surveys indicate that audiologists' knowledge and skills in this area are lacking. Systemįinally, Monit can be used to monitor localhost’s system resources in general, including average load, memory consumption, and CPU usage. This means you can do any kind of check using Monit, for which you can write a script. However, you can also use Monit to check a program’s exit value and take action or send an alert if it signals a problem. Like cron, Monit may be used to test programs or scripts at predetermined intervals. You can set Monit to send any data and test the server’s response even if the server does not support a protocol. Protocol-level network tests are possible Monit includes built-in tests for the major Internet protocols, including HTTP, SMTP, and others. There is support for TCP, UDP, and Unix Domain Sockets. Keep track of the network connections to multiple servers, local or on other hosts. If a file’s md5 or sha1 checksum should change, you can receive a notification or take action. You can utilize this for security purposes as well. Monit can watch these elements for timestamps, checksums, or size changes. Monit may also keep track of localhost files, directories, and filesystems. Sendmail, sshd, apache, and MySQL are a few examples of daemon processes that can be monitored with the help of monit, such as those launched from /etc/init/ at system startup. Monit can be used to keep an eye on daemon processes and other similar software operating locally. Process attributes, such as how much memory or CPU time a process is using, can also be tracked by Monit. Similarly, if apache is consuming too many resources (for example, if a DoS assault is underway), Monit can stop or restart apache and send you a warning message. For instance, if Sendmail is not operating, Monit can restart Sendmail automatically. If an error occurs, Monit can take action.
